SFSRA Summer Luncheon

The Southern Forest Service Retirees Association held our Summer Luncheon for members and guests on Thursday, June 12, in Watkinsville, GA. Presentations on Prescribed fire by Mac Callahan and Invasive Plants by Dr. Rima Lucardi, both of the Southern Research Station, Forest Sciences Laboratory in Athens, GA followed lunch. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

2024 Chattahoochee and SFSRA Fall Picnic
SFSRA members joined the local Chattahoochee retirees group for a cookout / pot luck at Don Carter State Park outside of Gainesville, GA, on September 17th. Larry Luckett and Mike Ferguson grilled hamburgers and all brought their favorite sides. The food was great and the fellowship even better!
